Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession focused on improving and maximizing movement, function, and performance throughout a person’s lifespan. Physiotherapists work closely with members of your healthcare team (Family Doctors, Surgeons, Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals) to ensure everyone is working together to achieve your goals.

Your first appointment is an opportunity for your physiotherapist to listen to your needs and develop a customized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.

Please arrive at your appointment with your paperwork completed (We’ll email it to you once you’ve booked your appointment.) Also, bring any relevant imaging or notes from your doctor.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes!

No, Physiotherapists are primary health care practitioners therefore you don’t need a referral. Please note that some insurance companies may require a Doctor’s referral for reimbursement of physiotherapy services.

 

Strive Physiotherapy & Performance does NOT bill WSIB or motor vehicle insurance directly. If your injury is due to a workplace incident or motor vehicle collision, it’s recommended you contact WSIB or your insurer to determine if they will allow you to pay Strive Physiotherapy & Performance directly and submit your invoice to them for reimbursement.

We accept debit, dredit, cash, etransfer and cheque. We also now have a secure online payment option through your Jane profile!

At the end of each visit, Strive will accept payment and you’ll be provided with your receipt. This receipt can be submitted directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. Your invoices will be saved to your customer profile so they’re accessible to you at any time.
