- Bachelor of Applied Health Information Science (Honours)
- Born and raised in Kitchener
As a graduate of Applied Health Information Science and a CHIMA-eligible health informatics professional, I bring a strong foundation in data analytics, digital health technologies, and Ontario’s healthcare system. My expertise includes health informatics, EHR/EMR systems, data flow, and process mapping.
My journey in health tech began with a passion for integrating technology to enhance client-centered care across our provincial health system. This led to hands-on roles at the University of Toronto and Conestoga College, where I applied my skills to create impactful solutions:
– PREVENT App Development: At the University of Toronto, I developed the “PREVENT” app, a tool designed to assess diabetes risk and suggest personalized, preventative strategies. This involved everything from designing workflow and interaction diagrams to usability testing, all to provide users with actionable insights for their health.
– Supply Inventory Optimization: At Conestoga College, I supported the PSW department by enhancing their supply inventory tracking. Through data analysis, I created an interactive dashboard that visualizes demand, helping streamline the department’s procurement and inventory processes.
In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, cooking, camping, and travelling. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to connecting!
